in response to 34 cfr part 106.45(b)(10) of the 2020 title ix regulations that mandate the public sharing of materials used to train title ix team members, we are pleased to indicate that our coordinator and investigators are all certified by atixa (association for title ix administrators) and have taken the appropriate training given the positions they hold. you may visit the compliance page with links to training materials from january 2018 to the present for atixa training and certification events, selected webinars, and online trainings.
additionally, training has been provided to resident assistants (ras) by the title ix coordinator using this power point presentation since they are often a first point of contact for our students in the residence halls. additional training is underway for faculty, staff, and advisors who will be available to assist students in navigating the title ix process.

the following resources are available to assist you whether you have experienced a title ix infraction or you have been accused of violating title ix. we encourage you to reach out to someone who can be of support to you through this challenging time. all employees of barton except for confidential resources, are considered responsible parties who must report potential title ix infractions to our title ix coordinator. there are also some confidential resources that are able to listen to whatever you would like to share and they are not obligated by the position they hold to inform the title ix coordinator, unless it is determined you may be a harm to yourself or to others.
